You don’t always need a great camera with you to take a great photograph. The image of the dock in the fog was captured on my iPhone while walking around Lake Arrowhead with the family.
I was hiking in the hills near Ladera Ranch one morning and came across these wild daisies. Their deep yellow was framed by the rich blue of the morning sky.

This image was made from a paddle out for my wife’s cousin, Tim Dowell. He died unexpectedly in his early 20′s of unknown causes. His buddies onshore are about to paddle out to join the group.
I shot this image while on a date with my wife in San Clemente. I saw this couple sitting on the bench overlooking the ocean and new it would make a great image. All I had for a camera was my wife’s point-n-shoot 3.2 megapixel Sony.
